One question:What is your opinion on pre marital sex in eastern countries. Is it good or bad?

Sanjiwan: Well, this should not be open for anyone to comment on. Pre-marital sex is totally an individual choice and should not be a subject for evaluation. I believe it is only the perception which makes something good or bad. Moreover, every act has its pros and cons and so has pre-marital sex.

Actually, we had a debate on the very topic and each one of us had different answer. I just wanted to know what you have to say. Besides, you have said that it should not be made the subject for evaluation. And I am sorry to say,I have not done that. You also said that it is the choice of individual. You are correct ,ofcourse.Even so, will the Hindu Society of ours allow to make an individual his or her choice?

This will continue to be a subject of debate till the end of human race, without any substantial conclusion. Speaking of Hindu Society, it has never condoned and will never pardon people indulging in pre-marital sex. Even if I say that it is a bunch of hypocrites forming a part of this society, I don’t think it’s going to matter even a wee bit. Things will continue the way they are. People will keep defying the ‘rules’ and will continue to be disowned by the society. I would like to invite you and your friends to share your views on the ‘Discussion Forum’ of my website (www.anjalichugh.com). You can chose to open a debate / conversation in any of the categories mentioned there. I keep checking that forum frequently. Thx.

Where have you been all my blogging life? (Well, since October, 2009)
Are you still in India? Are you a lawyer?
I hope to visit India this year and would love to chat about some of the places the Buddha “hung out.” Wish I had checked out your blog earlier. But, there’s no time like the present.
thanks for your insight.
